3/4 roof rack awning

I have whitsonmetalworks 3/4 roof rack. Wondering if anyone has installing a awning or roof tent on the 3/4 and if so what kind of awning and how. I'm interested in this mod. Mostly looking at the awning

I bought a couple adjustable height tent poles and a $4 tarp ( 6 x 8). I use three wire twist ties to attach the tarp to my rack and stake the poles via a rope at the top or tie off to a tree. Simple, cheap easy to use not very fancy. In a zombie attack situation, I jump in and drive away leaving about $13 behind.

$250 or more for a small awning is ridiculous when you can just do what you did. I've been camping for 45 years & tarps & tent poles are cheap & easy. I feel sorry for the guy with the ARB who gets his awning all bent up in a storm.
