3" lift / 1" body lift fit in garage?

Most standard garage doors are going to be at 7' tall. Get out a tape measure and see if your 4Runner is over 7' tall. I'm guessing you should be fine since per wiki the tallest 3rd gen stock height was 68.7", and if you add 4 inches of lift to that it is only 72.7" which is still well short of 7' (84"). Keep in mind that if you have a roof rack or something then that might be an issue. Also, the 7' measurement for the door is for the opening, and most garage doors don't make it quite all the way clear of the opening when they are fully raised.

My 4th gen is ~6’9” with the daystar 2.5/1.5 lift, 32” or 33” tires and a roof rack with a spare tire on it. It does not fit in my garage. The spare tire on the roof rack hit the sign in a parking garage that had a 6’8” height limit sign.
As Skulking mentioned above, even though the garage door is 7’ tall, the door might rest lower than 7’ when open. In my garage, there is only 6’6” between the ground and the lifted door.

It will fit if the garage has the standard roll-up style garage door. But, like somebody mentioned, a roof rack might change things. My 98 has a 3" lift in the front and a 5.5" lift in the back and I have a Gobi style custom roof rack on top. It fits in my garage no problem. But, if I add my Yakima bike carriers to the roof rack, I will hit like I found out the hard way.

Also worth keeping in mind even if the door is 7' a sloping driveway will stop you getting in. I learned that the hard way.
