3'' lift

A couple questions,
1. is it possible to put a lift on a 2012 trail edition?
2. I will mostly be on the pavement but occasionally out in BFE either in the Mts of desert, and never in anything technical just trails.
3. what make would ya'll recommend.

I can change oil and change a tire, but by no means a mechanic. Again if doing this to a vehicle is requires alot of maintenance it pob not for me.

If your just looking for a lift, and not wanting to dump a whole lot of money, I know alot of people have gone the Bilstein 5100 route.

You can also look at Toytec or Icon.

EDIT: Adding the lift yourself isn't very hard. If you have KDSS it will make putting it on harder though. The best way to do it, when I did my spacer lift was to pick up all four corners and let the wheels droop. That will equalize pressure on the system and make it a good bit easier to line the sway bars back to mounting position. Another big help was using a floor jack to lift the bar into place and a ratchet strap to pull it close to the LCA.

Ok, thank you all for your commits. I got more questions.
1. What size of tire can you mount on the stock rims without a lift?
2. With the toytec ultimate lift, what size of tire can you mount without the need of spacers or the tires rubbing?
3. What size of tire can you fit underneath in the spot for the spare?

Also any word on when shrock works is gonna come out with the rear tire rack?
