Went to 3 shops today. Bought a tip, also ordered a new weldable O2 sensor flange:

Rod's Muffler in San Juan Capistano wanted $180 for catback, no tip.
Mesa Muffler in Costa Mesa wanted only $125 but that didn't include O2 sensor cutting/welding for the flange
Settled for Collin's Muffler & Hitch in Mission Viejo, $125 for 2.5" pipe all the way back, cutting and welding in my new O2 sensor flange, welding in my new muffler, and welding in the new tip I bought.
Having it done Wednesday, I will make a video and share it. I'll also post another after the month.

so you got everything replaced from the cat back? muffler and new exhaust tip? i just got mine looked at the other day and they wanted 360.00 for that.

it's crimped when it's bent, not like mandrel.
I looked at the underside of a V6 model 4Runner today and the exhaust pattern is identical catback. My plans are to get a V6 4Runner soon, so it will swap over with just some bolts.

James, you got a steal on the muffler install! As for those interested in the sound of a 24" after break in, I can make a video of mine, it's been on for a year now...

Recieved mine yesterday morning and I didn't know it was installed yesterday at all.
I was cruising on the highway this morning and noticed the truck did accelerate a little faster and smoother imo.
Coworker asked me how the truck felt and of course I asked why? Turns out he installed it yesterday while I was out at lunch.
Slightly better then stock and now that i've noticed it, it's not any much louder either. Hopefully after break in it won't get that much louder

Yes! Didn't want a loud 3RZ now if it has a 1uz or 2uz transplanted that would've been different lol.

When you guys say 24", are you talking total length of the muffler including pipes on both sides? Or just the case itself?

Why offset? Did all you 24" buyers buy offset? Is there a performance diff or otherwise between Offset/Center and Center/Center?

si, only thing left stock on the whole system is catalytic converter
