300k daily driver

That's a truck to be proud of for another 100K.

I liked my first 2002 runner the best. It got 17-19 mpg, had just the wheel well trim like yours and not the flares, and a Toyota tube bumper. At 245K miles with a need to pull the fuel tank for the emissions thing, and the AC compresser gone, there was too much rust so I found another 2002 with 80K. Traded them both for the third 2002, which now has 108K.

But I just bought a 2008 sport with a V8 and 88k. Pictures coming soon when I can start my own thread.

300K is the dream. I'm at 45K and depressed I'm 1/5 the way to my 250K minimum goal.

With all the electronics however, I doubt 5th Gens will be as eternal as the 3rd Gens.

My dads there with his 4th gen and 2/3s the way with his 5th gen. I think Toyota still are one of the only companies around building them like they used to! Other might not feel the same, just anacdotal!

Hour many did it a take you and what's the total cost for all

Tried to knock out about 1000 miles / day. Got around 200-220 miles / tank until I really needed to fill up. 2900 miles each way. Gas prices varied significantly so id say it was around 1k / 1 way.

Awesome! I have a similar situation. I have a 2000 with 290K. I got it 2 years ago but haven’t started driving it yet. I’m getting it spruced up now to make my daily driver.

I got 310k on my 1999. Still my daily driver. My brother says to upgrade but with used car prices so expensive right now, I think I'll keep her for another year or so.
