31 10.5 15 tires. Will they be ok for normal road use?

I am thinking of purchasing a set of rims with 31 10.5 15 parnelli jones dirt grip tires and am wondering what the road noise is going to be like? I am going to be using this car instead of my G35 for the winter and need something for short trips to the office and a little bit of fun on the weekend. I will not be taking any long trips with these. I am just curious as to if these tires will be ok for normal road use?

Are these tires harder on the transmission?

Are they going to be extremely loud?

What year vehicle are they going on, what size wheels will they be mounted on, what's the offset? I could go on but what's the point.

They are going on a 1994 v6 4runner, going to be mounted on 15x8 rims. I am not sure of the offset... (would that matter anyway?).

That is what came stock from the factory(31X10.5X15) on my 4Runner.

Not sure of your tread if it is agressive there will be more road noise.
