33" tire question

Ok guys...I have a question. I've been trying for about 30 minutes to find my answer by doing a search but I can't find anything. I'm currently running the Cornfed 3/2" lift kit but I'm really not satisfied with the size of my 265/70/17 BFG AT's and I'm wanting to find out what I would have to do to be able to fit a TRUE 33" tire. I found a setup on ebay that I really like. It is the XD Rockstar 18" wheels with 33x12.50x18's...I'm pretty sure that would be too big. If I added the Spidertrax wheels spacers, would that make any difference (besides the front tires rubbing on the fender)? I know that I may have to do some trimming but that's not a big concern for me. I'm not going to do any major offroading so I'm mainly going for the look. I would appreciate any help.

i have the same lift. no front spacers just adjusted the camber a hair to clear UCA's. not sure what the offset would be in the wheels your looking at but that might play a factor in rubbing more on the body mount.
tires are 295/70/17 terra grabbers. right around 33's

getting a bit of rubbing on the body mount in turn when entering a driveway.

I doubt it will fit. I have a 3/1.5 lift with 18's and 33.6"x11 toyo mud terrains, I think they are 275/70/18. The wheels are 8.5" wide with a -12mm offset. They bareley fit, I had to trim most of the inner fender, get rid of the mud flaps and trim a small piece of the bumper. I had spidertrax, but they would not fit at all with them. And unless you are absolutley sold on a wheel, spidertrax are not necessary, just get a wheel with the offset you like. I was sold on wheels and tires and pretty much made it work because that was what I wanted. My suggestion would be to go to your local tire shop and see what fits. With 33's it is so close and it depends on the tire, since the height is the sidewall height not including the tread. So if you are looking for a mud terrain tire, that could play a significant role.

guess i should mention that i removed the front and rear flaps, trimmed the back of the front flair, trimmed out the fender liner and bumper when the front wheels had the spidertrax spacers installed for testing. (granted this was before i checked that it was hitting the body mount.) so clearances on my setup are extreme for the offset of the FJ wheels.

im planning on doing the body mount chop very soon and try the frotn spacers again to see if they are going to work. really want to get them on for the stance im after.

any idea what the offset is on the XD's? you will definitely want to consider tire thread choice as dheeter mentioned. look up trik444 i think is his name. he has some et4 or 0 18x9" with 285/65/18's i believe. take a look as his setup and see how yours would compare and take his modifications to heart. if you want it bad enough and don't mind a bit of finessing the tires into place you shoudl be ok. i want more of a lift in the front and a wider stance so im looking at doing more work to mine in order to get the look im after
