35" Rubber

Anyone here running 35" tires? If so, list what you're running. I like the tall skinny tire look. Running 255/85/16 33" tires but thinking about maybe upgrading to 35" however I do not want the fat tire look (that's why I skipped the 285 33" tires). Any advice on 35" skinny tires?

My $.02, the taller and skinnier you go, the higher the COG it will have and we're talking about a vehicle that isn't known for keeping all the tires on the ground even at stock height. Raising the truck high enough to fit 35s + the extra height from the 35s themselves w/o compensating for it by widening your track = more harm than good. I would run 315s if I ever go 35s.

I couldn't find a tire shop to mount my 315's on a 7" rim. That's why I went to a wider rim. The problem is the taller the tire, the more sidewall you'll have. The more sidewall you have the higher your chances of folding a tire at the sidewall and breaking the bead, which on the trail is no bueno.

My set-up : Sonoran Steel 1.2 Susp. lift ~4", RB 2" BL... Pro-Comp series 8069 16x8 with 4" backspacing, WABFAB 1.25" Wheel spacers, plenty of fender trimming and pinch weld pounding. I still rub at full lock, but it's easy to avoid if you think ahead. I'm running GoodYear Wrangler Duratracs. 315/75/R16

I'll try and get a front view on the tires when I get to the house, I think the wider stance makes it look much more aggressive.
