Well it seems this is a tightly kept industry secret, or the search function and google have failed me completely. I have a 2003 V8 2WD on 35s with the stock gearing. I normally see 16.5mpg city and 14.5mpg highway. I really need help finding gearing for the rear diff.
I'm only doing it now because it's almost time to replace the 35s and i'm most likely upgrading to 37s. This is my daily driver, almost exclusively highway mileage, no off-roading. I drive it like a grandma on a Sunday. Call it a street queen, mall crawler, etc.. I'm totally ok admitting it's strictly built for appearance
With that being said, I cannot find ANY info online about upgrading a non e-locker rear diff, nor can I find a kit. From what I understand, I need to find a 29 spline non e-locker 4.88 ring and pinion gear set, then a master install kit. Someone suggested Nitro Gearing but I'd gladly take other suggestions.
I'd like to get this ordered and installed ASAP, so any help is appreciated.
