37's on a 3.5'' lift?

i know it sounds ridiculous but is it possible to fit 37'' tires on a 4runner with a 3.5'' lift and possibly a small bodylift?
I've been trying to research but i havent seen IFS 4runners pull it off.

maybe that lift and a 2" BL, and lots of cutting and such, but it wouldnt do that good in most applications. like flex. or turning...

you have to trim to run 35s with a 3.5 lift and 2" BL... so you want to try an run 37s? ha good luck, that will require some major trimming and relocation of suspension parts, you can only trim so much till your run into the cabin area of the vehicle and start messing with the doors... just save yourself some work and either stick with 35s or do an SAS...

Yes, still has only 4" total lift. For someone wanting to run such large tires, swapping too solid axle wouldnt be too far fetched.

You could make up some 16 inch wheel spacers and push the tires out past the fenders with no lift! Would it be a good idea? Maybe not...

Completely different. With the SFA, Scotty was able to move the axle forward so it would not rub on the rear of the front inner fender. With IFS, the tires always rub in that location since they sit further back in the wheel well. You can't just push the suspension forward like you can with a solid axle.

It is probable you can make them work with a lot of pounding and cutting.

The rear would be an issue as well though, but could be helped by adding bumpstops.

I personally think that 35's are pushing it with the IFS, 37's would add even more strain to the components. You'd probably need to upgrade your axles as well. I actually broke a rear axle shaft with 35's, although it is not common.

you can do it, just have to take off from bumper take off rear bumper, get the saw and cut about 3 inches off of the fender, cut 2 inches off of the body, then weld the body shut, then cut your wheel wells and move it up about 3 inches, get rims with offsets and regear to at least 4.88 or 5.29, is it doable? yes, is it smart? no its dumb as $hit.

With enough work anything will fit. The biggest problem you would run into is keeping the front axle together. Over the years everyone has kinda proven that 35's are pretty much the max size advisable on these rigs due to the weak front axle and cv's. Anything bigger and plain and simple you be spending a ton of time on the trail fixing broken parts.

Not to be a d**k but if you want 37's then it's time for a SAS. And yes with a swap you can manage 37's on around 4" of lift so it could remain the same height.

I have a 97 4runner with a 3in rough county suspension lift and a 2in Bl and I’m on 35s with no cutting or even rubbing. Wondering if 37s will fit
