3D printed hood scoop guts?

There was a thread recently about maybe printing out some flares or mudflaps. Size seems to be the biggest hindrance.

I was thinking the other day, what about the hood scoop guts? Toyota charges $125+ for the parts, all individually. Would it be possible to print the main insert? You could then just buy the mesh part and get the random nuts, bolts, and rivets at Lowes.

Good idea or is the part too big?

Not a bad idea..

3D printers come in a huge variety of sizes though, so it would depend on the printer itself.

Who was doing this printing? And what is their "setup" ?

It would be cool to have a nice white or any color "Toyota" badge instead of the mesh or on the mesh.

I plan on doing this at some point when i get the hood, its doable but it needs to be done in abs and probably in two parts, itll probably be a 20+ hour job as well.
