3G iPhone & TomTom Toyota...

When I try to connect my 3G iPhone with my TomTom... It tells me that "the USB device is not registered". And, the Aux. Port in the center console does not work. Has anyone else had this problem? And what was the solution?

I'm trying to see if I could fix my car this weekend and see if I could still find a space for that iphone.
