Nope, won't work. You say you pulled em off the front of a land cruiser? what year was the land cruiser?

weird.... welp, just make sure you got your color codes correct when you find another set. Good luck! Try searching ih8mud.com for some too. They pop up all the time but they sell fast.

thanks for your help. i'll be heading to the yard in the morning in hopes they have the right coils (7-8 wrap). the tundra strut assembly did fit tho just like you guys said (both yb). i was way to excited when i found these parts haha. one more thing. will i have to get fc shocks in the rear as well? i plan on goin bilstein 5100's all around, but later down the road.

Up to you. You can use the bilsteins, or the LC shocks or a few different others. I think most would recommend either the bilsteins or the LC's.. Maybe someone else can chime in if they are running a different setup.

cool. i was just planning on keeping the stock shocks in the rear for now, due to budget issues, will this work for the meanwhile? or is it a must that i get different shocks for the rear? (sorry newb here)

You're gonna need new shocks. I wouldn't run stock shocks with LC springs, the shock will be way overextended. You're adding 4+ inches of lift and that will definitely not work for the stock shocks. You can buy LC shocks from the dealership for like $45 a piece, just do that.

No problem. No, get the rear shocks for the land cruiser. Front springs, rear shocks.

Gosh I'm reading all this stuff and I'm getting myself freaked out lol. I recently put in the LC coils (8 wraps) in the back, i already had some aftermarket KYB monomax shocks. Now it sounds like I might blow my suspension? how do I know if my shock is over extended?

lol you're not gonna 'blow your suspension'... do you know the collapsed and extended length of the shocks?

Haha I wanted a lift for so long and now that I got one for cheap, I'm making myself think its gonna Hurt more then help. I shouldn't of started reading this thread :ybrick: lol

Lol you've been on here longer than I have, I thought you had a suspension setup long ago!
They're pretty short. I think the stock LC shocks extended length is around 24"-25". The only thing it's going to hurt is your ass while driving, and the shock, eventually.

Yeah i'm a dinosaur here and this lift stuff is completely new to me. Everything came to me very quick and unexpected. i feel like Luke Skywalker getting his first light saber haha. Welp, i Guess I gotta add some longer shocks to the list Thanks man.

Just grab some OEM LC shocks, should set you back like $90, rip that rear sway bar off and call it a day.

OK guys I just got done reading every last post on this thread and couldn't find which year and model to look at when getting all my shocks and struts. I'm getting some tundra YY/YB coils soon and probably OME 890's but still need to get the shocks and struts as mentioned, but saw some info on them being oem style with extended flex capability, off a 2004 taco doublecab, or a tundra... HELP PLEASE! i'm just looking for a straightforward tokico setup and want to know which rig to buy for... THANKS IN ADVANCE!

CHANGE YOUR SHOCKS WHEN YOU LIFT IT! I won't rant like i did in my build thread but yeah... I'm hoping this is the problem. Currently I have some KYB Monomax shocks with my LC coils. I think the shocks are stock length, but holy hell the ride is horrible! The KYB's were fantastic at stock height but now they feel like I'm gonna rattle the doors off every time i get into some bumpity bumps.
