What do you guys suggest for brake upgrades for the 3rd Gens? Besides slotted rotors and HD pads, what are some other options I have? Does anyone make a big brake kit for our vehicles?

I've got 'em
Installed slotted rotors and Hawk pads (from performance products) about three months ago...it took all of 40 mins.
No more warped rotors, and great stopping power now!

Im not trying to jack a thread but I upgrade not even a month ago
with some EBC slotted and Dimpled rotors and Bendixx Lifetime warranty ceramic pads.
VERY good combo so I thought.
It is almost 2 months into it and now I get vibrating again.
What do you all think it is????
This is really pissing me off $300 later!
But slotted rotors is the way to go as long as it works.
Help please???

Upgraded Brakes
I had very serious warping of my rotors. So bad it felt like the steering wheel was going to reverberate out of my hands when I was coming down I-70 from the mountains.
I did some research and found that the front rotors installed on the 3rd gen's were under sized so they warp really easily with stock equipment. I upgraded to a more performance type rotors & pads from AJ-USA Auto Imports. I got matching EBC parts from them and couldn't be happier.
I will admit I wish they would have told me these things come from the UK and it will take 2-3 weeks to get them. Oh well, once I got them installed I haven't had any more issues. I'm currently at over 10K miles on these and I have no warping so far.

I've had many with the issue of the stock rotors warping, over and over. I've sold these rotors to many with great results.

Also are there any other Upgrades other than the expensive route like stoptech. Its been mentioned of using tundra brakes but I haven't been able to find a write up about them.

Go Tundra Upgrade. Period!
I bought used calipers for $25 each, Brembo Rotors and Hawk Pads. 4R stops waaaay better and no more warped rotors

i am also doing the Tundra/Sequoia. i got a 2006/2007 Sequoia Calipers (231) for $158 off ebay, pads for $30 bucks, and Rotors off my 2004 Tundra. i kept them when i changed it out to cross drill/slotted rotor. The cross drill rotor ran about $95 without pads & $135 with pads when i bought them for my Tundra. i might just buy the slotted rotor if my tax return come in time for the 4runner. for looks and i can feel a different in my Tundra. (i dont care what other guys say about cross drill/slotted rotor)
there are two kind of calipers (Pre - TSB) are 199mm i believe which are smaller, and 231mm which is bigger.
i would also upgrade to 17" wheels too. Most Tundra & Sequoia is 17" wheels stock. i would not grind my wheels nor would i grind down the calipers. why risk your life with the brakes and wheel? but i heard 16" will work with the right backspacing 4" to 4.5".
i will give you guys update once i am done installing lift and brakes. i am going with 18" wheels.
