Thanks bro. I went to Jason's 4Runner page. HAHAHA, I can't believe it. I'm the guy that dyno tested that deck plate mod on the Tacoma! People are still talking about that and it was 5 years ago!
 
sorry to bump such an old post.

ive searched for the pipe at my local home depot they all tell me all the pipe they have is in plumbing and all i can find that looks like this is a hollow tube. am i looking in the wrong place? does the pipe have an official name i can ask for it buy?
 
It is a hollow tube. It's in with all the galvanized pipe. In my store, it's down the sprinkler isle.

Wow, I sold this truck 6 months ago...and this make me miss it.

I just did another setup like this on my Sister's 01 Runner...and it looks just as good!

Jason, if you read this, I'll get you some pics as soon as I get hers all cleaned up.

hey thanks man for some reason i was thinking it had something in the middle of the pipe to help add support probably why i could not find it

Yeah, The 99+ bumpers have that 2-3" buldge in the middle, where as the 98-older are a straight type bumper. Thanks for making that clear though!!

would some thing like this work for a westin safari light bar?
and what year is that bull bar for? I haven't seen all the inner works on the safari bar so any info would be great. I know some fab guys and not a stanger to a torch and welder myself but if somebodys done something simple already then great.
