alright ladies and gents, I have an idea but I need the help of individuals on these forums. As you all should know different year runners use different size bulbs for the dash board, and I'm looking to see if a specific part is interchangeable. the small plastic piece that the dash bulb pops into, and then twist locks into the back of the speedometer and tac. I know later model 3rd gens use a #24 bulb, and earlier use a #194, I just want to see if the piece that the bulb connects into is interchangeable, because better quality #194's are available today than #24's, and im sure I could alleviate much more hot spots with a #194.
any takers out there about to do an led swap with a friend that has the opposite style 3rd gen as yourself?
