3rd gen front wheel hub removal?

Is this removable without taking off the entire spindle and LBJ, etc? From the diagrams of the parts involved, it looks like it will seperate from the bearing housing.....

No bearing work required here, but I need to get axle hub off so I can press in new wheel studs. That and install a new dust shield before I throw it back on.

I dont need to service the bearing or anything behind the axle hub itself, aside from the dust shield. To be clear, from the diagram, the hub does not house the bearing, as it does on other designs.

NO, you need a press to press out the hub from the bearing.

Also notice that the diagram shows the lower ball joint bolts are reusable and 37 ft-lb.

My husband changed out a couple of studs without removing the flange- unfortunately you cannot change the dust shield without removing the flange.

I've seen a couple people cut their dust shield horizontally in half and use two bolts for each half.....I have not done it, might bear some looking into.

Torque specs I have for the 4 Lower ball joint bolts are different...not 37ft lbs...
