It is a totally sad day. The runner is up for sale and I JUST got these in the mail. Life loves throwing curves.

Bran new FX-R projectors in new TYC housings.
Apollo shrouds - Phillips bulbs - Morimoto ballasts
Housings painted gun-metal.

Done totally professional by Headlight Hookup (Rickashay) and they look like they came stock supreme workmanship.

Never installed. All bran new parts.

Perhaps list the prices of the components. At first look I was like what the french, these are cool, but not $800 cool.

Those things are slick though, wish I could swing that by my wife, I'd love to have them. Good luck with your sale!

I agree........

After reading a few of the write ups on building projection headlights, the challenge warranted looking into the cost of having them done by a skilled experienced craftman.

I further agree with A. Wilson013, by providing a cost list of the componets many could use the comparison between parts cost and labor to make an informed buying decision.

Many may find the difference worthy of not attempting the DIY challenge and buying your Rickashay plug and play.

Did you happen to take any cutoff photos and all that while testing? That may also help re-sale.

Sorry I do not, you'll have to ask the seller for those... We test them throughout the retrofit process however we have no need to photograph the output of every set. An FX-R beam is an FX-R beam as far as we are concerned.

I don't have any pics because they've never been installed.

As Rickashay said, I mean it'll look like any other, except I went with the upgraded Phillips bulbs which were an extra $45.

Right now on Retrofit Source, total for the kit w/ Phillips bulbs is 360 + tax.

New TYC glass housings are 100 + tax + shipping

Easily over $500 just for parts. Then it was $450 for Rickashay to work his magic, tearing those puppies apart and painting the reflectors + aligning + drilling + apoxy + reinstalling the lens.

+ shipping all that out to me, so I spent over $1000 on these and I never even got to see them work.

Even $800 is killing me let them go.

Wow, I had no idea what cost where involved to get those done. I too, would be sick after putting out over $950 + ship and not using them. For someone not wanting to DIY, there is a savings buying here. Good luck
