3rd Gen LS400 Projector Retrofitted Headlights | $250 | ID

I sold my 3rd gen a few months ago and upgraded to an LX470 and I just found these laying around in my garage.

These are hands down the brightest headlights i've ever seen, they light up the world!!!

I purchased them from the theretrofitsource.com.

These projectors are getting harder and harder to find and I can see why, these are massive projectors and boy are they awesome.

The new owner will need to buy new wiring hardware and bulbs. After a couple years of use one bulb (or so I thought) went out and then the other. I thought it was just bulbs so I bought new bulbs and when I installed them they didn't work so the rep and theretrofitsource told me that unless I could test all the components the simplest way to get the system working again was going to be to replace all the wiring.

I will be including everything I have for this set up so if you are so inclined to test to components you will be able to get them up and going much cheaper than buying all new wiring.

250$ for the whole set up.

Is that a hole with clear taped over on the driverside lens? Please confirm if it is the LS400 and NOT the LS430 projector?

Interested.. Just a few questions

- What housings are they? Glass or plastic?
- What shrouds are they?
- Do you have any output pictures?
- Do you have any lit up pictures of the projectors & shrouds themselves?
- Is that a hole in the driver side housing lens?

Can you double check what projectors those really are?

LS400’s never came with projectors,they had reflector HIDs. I doubt they’re LS430 because the lenses look too large and aren’t in the shrouds with the lower reflector sections. LS460 perhaps,and are they low beam only or bixenon?

looks like the lexus ls460 projectors.

ls430 has the reflector at the bottom.

pretty sure the relay just went bad, or it might be the ballast. ive been having a little issue with the new thin ballast, but the warranty is fantastic. atleast to fully test the ballast and igniter, just swap parts and power it directly off the battery, might be a bad ground also.
