3rd Gen Parts vs 2nd Gen Parts

So there is this broken down 2nd gen 4runner in front of my house (its my neighbors.) I noticed its has a tow package and my truck still does not. I'm sure they'd be willing to let it go since their 4runner has been there for more than a month.

So, I guess my question is will I be able to simply "Plug&Play" the tow rack? and with that are there any other parts on the 2nd gen that are compatible with the 3rd gen?

Measure the frame rails on each to see if it will fit. I have no idea if other parts would match up.

Unfortunnately, they are completely different trucks...

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Was hoping maybe there was at least something I would be able to use for my truck
