3rd Gen Rear Ladder

That spare tire step is interesting. Never seen that before.

Got the ladder installed today. I'm happy with it.

Bad pictures below...

Here are some pictures I've found of mounts.

I really like how close they mount to the rear gate.

I'll post up a couple pictures I took earlier of how they mount and some better shots of the ladder itself a little later today

Pretty sure I can figure out what's going on there. Looks to be semi-easily removable if you needed to for reasons. Will you have to deal with dirt and debris getting between the rack and the top of the hatch where it mounts?

I'm sure a little dirt will get up there, but I'm not worried about it. It's very easy to remove. Only takes maybe 30 minutes to install and take off, but if you remove it you'll have to put new double sided tape on all the pieces that use it.

Does bajarack still make their ladder? I can't seem to find anything. Only baskets

They do not. I contacted them twice about it and both times they said they were not interested in bringing it back.

Good info, thanks! I am in the market for a ladder too. But purchasing a gobi makes me hack up some nasty in the mouth from the past posts, discussions and all the drama that unfolded. Guess if it is the only way to go, it is the only way to go though. Does look damn good and functional.

Custom build?

Did anyone end up making a custom one for the die of their rig? If so do you mind sharing some info on how you went about it?

Out of the loop, what is all the drama/lawsuit stuff with Gobi? I am aware they have pretty crappy CS and long wait times, etc. Unaware of the lawsuit stuff, though.
