3rd Gen Service Manual

Hey guys,
if it isnt blatantly obvious enough, I'm new here and especially new to the 4runner.
My gf got a 2000/2001 4runner limited and doesnt really have a clue how to use it.
I'm looking for a service manual that both of us could use to figure out how to correctly use the car. More precisely the trans.

If the service manual is unavailable my main quest is to figure out what the different options on the trans shifter are ie h2 h4 etc???

If you go to Toyota.com and register as an owner, you can get pdfs of the user manual in the owners section. That should give you good instructions on how to use the transmission and transfer case.
