One of the teens in the back seat was my brother in law. The two teens up front were killed on impact and one of the other teens had two vertabrae crushed and might be parylyzed while my in-law broke his leg in 3 places and broke his arm. All had their seatbelts on too. Hard lesson to be learned.

Im sorry for your loss, but drinking and driving, when will people learn ?
On the news, they said they was leaving a party, and the tried news crew tried to talk to the homeowner, he then sprayed the news crew with a garden hose

When i read "airborne for more than 40 feet" i knew they were crankin, i am not sure how the hell you can drive fast enough to get a 2 ton beast in the air that long, but given the age and time, i would assume there were some drugs involved, lots of kids around here drive drunk, and VERY quick on the back roads, much faster than im comfortable.

I am glad that your relative was the least injured out of the lot.

Wow...so sad!!! Your brother in law got very lucky! His friends not much. Now that I have kids, these stories worry me.

My brother in law is still in the hospital but out of intensive care and is responsive.
I know the neighborhood they crashed in and I don't see how they got going that fast in the first place since the roads are 35mph and that's pretty fast for those small roads in an older neighborhood.

They said today, the driver had a BAC 3X the legal limit, his best friend is gone..

PLEASE PEOPLE, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE......

Its just NOT worth it...

I almost posted the picture of the vehicle, but out of respect for the family, I chose not to, Please DONT drink and drive...

Sorry to hear about this. That was a horrific accident judging by the pictures.

Definitely shows the importance of not drinking and driving, but also the importance of not getting into the car with someone who has either.

That's the biggie is recognizing a situation that could turn dangerous but most young people don't consider consequenses til they learn a lesson and sometimes it's a hard one.
