3rd gen slider options

Good morning forum folks! Happy Holidays!!

I know there are a plethora of companies making rock sliders for our beloved 3rd gen 4runners. My question is, what brand are you running and what are your likes/dislikes on that particular brand/make?

I am considering replacing the running boards with a set of sliders. I wanted to get some feedback on the different options out there, from guys/girls like you all that have field tested them.

Weld/Bolt On doesn't matter to me. I can't weld so I would have a shop do the welding.

Thanks for the reply. I did see your post while doing some initial searching on the forum. Your setup looks good and seems perfectly functional.

I am in the same boat. I took the stock running boards off and am looking for something else to go there. Most of what I'm looking at online does not really appeal to me. Should be interesting to see what others post in this thread.

A buddy of mine built mine, and i'm really happy. Ever since the Photobucket BS i haven't figured out a way to post pics.

I got some from Stubbs. Great quality, nice guy to deal with. I've been super happy with them.

4Runner removable sliders

Here are a few pics of the sliders that I have. They are bolt-on without modifying the frame.

I have lifted the car with a hi lift jack and they hold very well.

Only problem is that they are slippery. They are due for a paint job...again, so I will weld a few dozen pimples on the top part, so I dont kill myself while standing on them.

in the first picture, the left slider is the right one, and vice versa!

I have all-pro sliders. Haven't gotten a chance to bash them on some rocks yet. My only criticism is that with the kickout, there's a great big hole that you could slip through. I would recommend the fill plates.
