it actually sounds pretty good. I'm actually surprised how loud it is inside, and you can barely hear anything outside. I don't have to worry about the neighbors at night.

did they actually build a box behind that panel or did they just use the space behind the panel? I've got my CD changer in the same spot mounted very very similar location so I know what it looks like behind that panel. Just curious if you had some actual install pics?

That looks so nice and clean.

What did they charge you for the enclosure and install? I've already got an MTX 10" sub that could go in there.

the ideal sub for that setup would have been the discontinued JL 10IB4 .... but good luck finding one of those. You can still special order the 8IB4s in BMW stealth boxes but thats the only way. Basically IB stands for infinite baffle.. and that means it doesn't need a box and uses whatever air its given.

The box replaced the panel. The entire storage unit was removed, and the box was built in.

For the enclosure + sub + install was around $700. They also used a screen that is a little stronger than what comes with the sub since I told them I still wanted to be able to use my cargo area and throw stuff in there.

They used a JL 10w1 for the sub.

I debated the TRD logo on it, but since I have the supercharger, decided to throw it on for the little extra. Gave me an extra 10hp :)
