Oh, you wouldn't recommend them? I was looking for some to mount on my bumper but if they suck I'll get something else.

I had 4 Kragen HIDs on my last rig, so compared to that, yeah they suck. But they are cheap and tough, $70 for them, and $50 for 55w HIDs, and for $120/pair you've got some solid lights. AND they are small and light enough to easily mount on a stock bumper. Bigger lights are gonna need a lightbar or bumper to be solid. Kragens are $120 apiece and any name brand HIDs are way more than that. Just depends on how much light you want. for trail riding they're fine, for 100mph in the desert you're gonna want more.

I used to have Hella 500's on my old pickup with HID's. They performed awesome for the price, however I did not like their use of glass lenses. When out on the trails I was always worried the guy infront of me would chuck a rock through my Hella's. Just something to think about.... You could always throw some 3M on them.

Like that black on the rocker panel/flares. Keep thinking about that if I ever went more "trail" look with everything i'd possibly do that, but then i'd want to go black bumpers, hood scoop, mirrors, door handles, just to try something different. It looks good on yours, I like it.

Not usually big on poser pictures, but I like this one. My 4 runner was out of commission for 3+ weeks and I've really enjoyed driving it the last few days. I'm falling in love all over again. I've got a little 3 hour road trip planned this weekend to catch some dirt roads among other things.

so i pulled out my ARB locker on sunday and lookie what i found...

yeah thats a bolt head MIA...

oh there it is...

and uh yeah there is not supposed to be that much of a gap their, all of the bolts that hold the housing came lose and pulled out...

new one on the way...
