You could never shoe horn a cummins isb or 6bt straight 6 into a runner. If you did, it would stick out of the hood at least a foot, if not more, not mention loosing the windshield. and the truck would flop forward with a 1150 pound engine up front. But dam i want to see one.
Huge cummins fan here.
By the way, the guy should get his ass kicked for the exhaust on that poor t4r anyway. Some peoples children.

thanks man, yeah it worked for what it was(a place to mount lights) but this is 1,000,000x better and i could not be happier! (ok thats a lie, if i had an Armoralogy bumper i would be happier but i dont have $1500 and dont like in CO)

-now i get to rip it all back off to install the winch i got today -but first i have to take it down to warn to have them repair it, it was in a crash and the housing is split so i need a new housing, but the winch works just fine. so i may as well let them rebuild it for me and that way ill have a warranty on it at that point.

for the price i do not think you can beat the ARB, it has built in crumple zones(helps reduce the likelihood of unnecessary airbag deployment, and absorbs some of the impact reducing the chance of frame damage) it does not weigh all that much considering its size -its under 80lbs(i think i weighed mine at 77lbs before the lights). its got a great look and finish, i think it could pass for a factory look... and installation is super simple and doable by yourself in a couple of hours.

- check with ARB in renton, sometimes they have "scratch and dent" bumpers... basically either factroy seconds or bumpers that have a minor scratch or dent in them and you can pick them up at like 20-40% off depending on the damage. i was too impatient for this so i just bought one brand new, but i got a deal on mine through a friend who works at a distribution warehouse center.

for me the choice was simple, i already have and ARB air locker (and am gonna put on in the front next) and i have the ARB Safari Snorkel, and a set or IPF lights, so it was the logical choice. that and i personally think its the best looking bumper outside of the Armorology bumpers

I stand corrected, i guess if you have a solid axle and a super duper lift, you can shove a cummins into a tacoma or runner, no lift and ifs, no way.
Love the sound of the 12 valve.
