I guess it just wasnt meant to be....probably for the best. I dont need to stare at your bumper. I have enough confusion in my life about what bumper I need to put on my truck.

:jk:...I know you're confused about the bumper situation. Fortunately there's lots of good folks supporting the 3rd gen 4Runner/1st gen Taco's. Good luck figuring it out. LOL

I actually just saw a Red T4R in DT Portland....Slight lift, ARB, Yakima basket, and a big search and rescue sticker on the rear bumper! Not yours, but similar!

I made it in the most recent issue of 4wd Toyota owner! CHeck it out . I had no clue this was going to happen this is from a rubicon trip i did in july.

Finished changing out the front suspension from my 99 talls with 1" daystars to OME 881's. Still using a 1/4" poly spacer on the drivers side to help even out the dsl.

Can't really see it here but also added 1/2" wheel spacers to the front and black center caps all the way around, and the Gorilla ET lugs all the way around (needed the spacers to get rid of some minor rubbing due to the height I lost and the rim depth. Ended up trimming some of the end piece off the running boards too).

Didn't lose to much lift with the new suspension (only about 1/2"), but the ride is so much smoother with those daystars out of the picture. Also, now when I have the rear airbags fully expanded I have a nice little rake action going on again. Don't know if it was a combination of the lugs, and new coil geometry but I finally got rid of almost all of the vibration I had going on at 55+ mph. That alone was worth the time and money.

Looks good.. makes me want some for my Highlander. I think 1/2" makes it look perfect when combine it with the Limited flares. I think if I was running 1/2" or so spacers like you I wouldn't wish I had SR5 flares so much, instead of the Limiteds that came on my '00 Highlander.

Just a quick FYI, the flares you have are the Sport style flares. Limited flares have an extra portion of cladding that molds from the flare and follows along the bottom of the doors above the running boards.

This is true.. I just have a habit of referring to them as the "limited flares" because they are the wider color matched style.

As CoB pointed out they're sport flares (which is like mine of course), but yeah you know what they are. I'll try and get a better "front on" pic or even a close up from looking down over the flare to see if you can get a better view. Its not really THAT noticeable, but its there.
