A week and a half into my trip and I'm halfway across the country, as a rule I've done a bit of exploring in every state I've hit. The 4runner's done great! In North Dakota for the time being, gonna apply for a few jobs in Williston before I head somewhere else.

I actually painted them with SEM Black trim paint over the summer, its pricey but worth it. The flares were straight up gray before I painted them. The finish has kept very well I think.

In parts of Utah I was getting 18, around here with all the hills I'm only getting about 13-14. Not having to get a hotel is worth it!

I picked this up last night for $250 it is a 99 sr5 2wd with only 135k on drivetrain. The PO was driving on I85 in NC and over corrected and flipped it over, he only had some scratches and bruises. It has only had 2 owners and the glove box was full of manuals,window sticker and service records!

Pull a few parts I need, scrap all the bad sheetmetal and maybe swap the motor over to mine eventually, mine has 230k on it but no issues at this time. I will be selling some parts as soon as i decide what all i need. I may sell the drivetrain for the right price!!

If you want to get rid of the cap that goes on the antifreeze overflow reservoir let me know. Mine somehow disappeared when it was in a shop a couple months ago.

my 2000 at my sleep over spot while prerunning the baja 1000 in San Fransiquito baja California, In El Arco and the San Ignacio Lagoon.
The runner pre ran 300 miles of this years course with a sonoran steel 1.2 kit and did just fine, she just needs more compression travel in the rear and 2.5" shocks all the way around and she would cruise along that much better.
Side note here, my new yokohama at-s tires handled everything great, did well in the silt, would eat up the rocky washboard roads fine and would creep over the rocks with ease. tires have no visual marks on them at all. Very happy with them for those on the fence about them.
