I have a request:
Could you guys list basic info with your pics?
Stuff like: lift height, tire size brand/model, other suspension mods.
It'd be helpful for noobs like me to see what different setups look like and maybe how they work together.

Or maybe like some of the other sections have a master lift thread for that stuff.

If you see something you like, many users have a build thread link in their sig line. If not, just ask!

Go to Master Information Thread then to Collection of 3rd Gen Build Threads thread. Start reading the build threads and you will get all that information !

Also many of us have build threads in our signatures (see below this text lol) check them out directly. Start with Nates above ... There are so many to choose from.

I'm probably obsessing a little LOL, but I'm just trying to get a feel of what I'mm wanting.
I've got a list of things that need to be done and things I want done. I just need to prioritize the list.
Things like: trans flush, gear oil (front and rear diff and transfer case), and maintenance/tune up items will come first.
Wants: lift, rock sliders and bumpers.
I'll probably start looking and piecing together lift components and not actually install it all until it's time for new tires.
And I'm going to try my hand at fabricating the bumpers and rock sliders myself.

I finally found a 4 runner that I like and could afford. High milage (233,000) but solid and well maintained. 97 SR5 loaded with leather. Needs LR axle seal, inner tie rods and a outside liftgate handle. Gonna keep it stock and use it for my daily driver and winter ride so my G8 can stay nice and pretty. Needed something to tow a small boat and trailer with. My wife won't put the Toyota hitch in her highlander even though we bought it with the trailer package. Lol. Anyway. Lots of good info here in the forum.
