New to forum - 2000 T4R

So I'm new. This has been sitting for about a year. Got it real cheap, and it has 140,000 miles almost exactly. Any ideas as to what I need to worry about? I was told there may be a transmission issue with it.

Timing belt, known issues, etc? I know one thing to worry about is the Pink Milkshake, so I have a radiator on order. I did check the transmission fluid, and it's a dark red, no milkshake.


Have not even turned it over. Just want to be safe, replace all fluids, etc. Clean the crap out of it. And then the gamble's begin from there...

Any forum help is appreciated. I'm looking for this to be a fun and relatively inexpensive 2nd car project.

Bishkek is a very neat place. I wish I could have seen more of Kyrgyzstan, but we were simply allowed to drive from point A (Manas) to point B (Bishkek) a couple of times, and were not allowed to wander at all.

I saw Ala-Archa Reservoir, and in the distance while in the Ulan Microdistrict could see the mountains to the south. It looked awesome! Do you explore down there much? Can you? Are there roads?

Sorry about my poor english Yeah, Khyrgyzstan is a small, but beautiful country. If you travelled from Manas to Bishkek, it means that you worked at Gansi US Air Force Base I`m exploring near all country, here some pics of nature:
