Yes it looks similar. Doesn't protrude as much and less the stinger bar which makes me like it

That's exactly what I was thinking. Looks very simple and streamline atleast from the angle of the pic. Was the pic linked to anything that had more info? I'm thinking it started off as a bumper for another vehicle and was mdified to fit the 3rd gen.



It also reminds me of this one (minus the hoop) which is another one I've always liked. I think I remember reading it was a hanson bumper. Not sure if it was Hanson offroad that custom made this one. They have similar looking bumpers for jeeps.

Yeah that was a hanson bumper for an XJ that the was modified to fit the 4runner. I remember seeing the thread on Yota Tech years ago.

New to us 2002 4Runner Sport Edition





Picked this up a couple of weeks ago. Will be my sons's daily driver once he gets his license.
2002 Sport Edition, 185,000 miles, Sunfire Red Pearl.
Pretty much bone stock right now. Just plan on doing some preventative maintenance items for right now. Possibly might do a mild lift at a later date.
Has some issues with some peeling clear coat on the front bumper and rear gate as well as a little bit of rust on the rear diff, good projects for a young boy to attempt I think.
