20 year overeating and bulking up differences too. I love our gens because of the size.

yes I totally agree, but don't get me wrong that 17 is sooo plush and with lots of creature comforts

A 2002 Limited is plenty plush too. 5th Gen limiteds are pretty hideous with those 20" wheels & ugly front end. The TRD Pro is hot & I'll probably end up with a 16.

I know it's kind of hard to tell from the images, but I'm not sure if this is too much rust. I live by the beach and would be taking it on the beach, so I don't want it to have issues straight from the get-go.

It's a 2000 Limited. 113k miles. Just had timing belt and wp done, as well as new tires and brakes. Asking 8900 for it from the dealer. I know that's too high, but I haven't started negotiations yet.

That's nothing, I wouldn't let that little amount of rust stop me from buying it.

I love that color, sunfire red pearl. That is super minimal rust, and one of the better ones I've seen. All I'd add is a rear spoiler

Took the 4Runner off-roading on some decently difficult trails for it being stock. Utah Hill and Michigan Hill west of Denver about an hour. A few small but steep hill climbs and smaller rock portions. The darkness and heavy fog also added to the challenge
