nope his EXIF Data says he had a handy piece of L series Glass, lol

I have the same camera and that was one of the lenses I was looking into getting or the Sigma Counterpart

its a 34. has an old buick v8 in it. we think it used to be a dirt track car. been in storage for the past 40 or so years.been in my family for who knows how long

dang, i gotta upload my EXIF data to my computer. I didn't know you can do it with other peoples pics.
But yeah i just bought a dslr and wanted to get some more lenses. 50mm/1.8 is gonna be my first i think. I wish it was a 1.2 or 1.4. that would be sick!

normally if you process from RAW files then when you upload to FLICKR it's carried w/ it. I know it does on my flickr account, unless I'm using my AE-1 then yeah there is no data (30 yr old camera I use on ocassion).

You nailed it! LOVE the "L-Glass". I was using a Hoya Circular Polarizer for that photo though, and honestly I think it de-sharpened the image a little compared with the regular clear/UV filter.
The nifty fifty is a great lens. Ability to get tons of bokeh with that lens (ability to blur the background).

Most of the CPL's do cause a bit of a de-sharpen effect, also almost 80% of my shots lately have been w/ my Thrify 50. .

this thread is getting off topic but while i have the chance, what kind of dslr did you get? and if you don't already have a photoshop software i recommend Adobe Lightroom 3 or 4 whichever is the latest nowadays. I have 3 and its an awesome software, uploads and organizes all your pics and it has great photoshop tools. check it out!

New to the forum, but just picked up my first T4R. 02 Limited with 163k. Mods to come....:lookout:
First time owning a 4Runner, but previously had 72 FJ40 (had to sell because the wife didn't like the idea of our new born riding in it) , 05 Taco Dbl Cab 4x4 (sold to get the 40), 02 LX 470 (sold to try and find another LC, and still looking) and 03 IS300 (sold because I am more of a 4wd person).
Looking forward to keeping this one and getting it ready for the trails!! I know, I know, the running boards are coming off tonight.

Nice choice, but it's an 00 isn't it? The rims are 01-02, but the grill and colors are 99-00.

Those are 01-02 colors. Sunfire & Thundercloud. The grill being different tells me it was probably in a wreck though. Good catch though!
I want a pic from behind, just curious if the tails can tell us anything.

Is that Thundercloud? In the lighting it looks a lot like my Topaz. Hmm, it's probably an 02, but sure looks like an 00.

I have the pics at the office and can post them in the AM. No accidents, clean Carfax. Sunfire & Thundercloud, the light might make it look different.
