sitting taller than it used to...
it was very surreal driving it to work this morning, right away i could tell something was not as it had been, i want to drive this thing everywhere all the time now, as if i didnt love it enough before the lift OMG i feel like a 13yo who saw his first real set of:girl:

My Ride

new to the 4runner scene and off-roading! i used to build drift cars and did track events but decided to get out the game. got this truck from a guy in virginia who drove it up to pa for me. its a 99 Limited with 138,xxx miles on it from the original owner.

the day i got it

few days later the running boards removed

did a little bit of back roads mudding

found a creek a few days later!

picked up a complete set of tundra wheels with 70% all around for 200 bucks!

Finally found a 2000 Limited w/ diff lock

Just did: OME 881 w/ top plate spacer, 906 rear, 285/75/16 duratracs, spidertrax

what shocks are you using with the 881/top spacer?

Whatever toytec sells with the ome kit. I opted for the 906 2" springs out back because I think it looks more level that way. Ome 60028 shocks in the rear.

I picked up the runner last week on monday, by thursday i was romping it in pismo. Trying to work out the kinks...since its a new rig, to me...i blew out a Coil over...and had issues with my traction control...so i just pulled the relays..

traction control was having problems before the King Coilover blew a resi line...im not sure why you think those would have been linked together...maybe just cause my picture shows me mashing on it
I own my own fabrication shop so fixing stuff isnt that big of a deal.

Thanks...i was hoping you knew something i didnt...i left the relays out since the traction control has been all weird on it..i hate all the lights on on the dash...but oh well.

New wheels and tires

Picked up a set of used wheels from whidbey island and some duratracs from a jeep owner who didnt like em. Almost done trimming and pounding. Gonna try em out this wknd.

Talk to Joe at Toyworx down in Grover Beach. Hes got a pretty sweet LT Tacoma, I imagine he would know how to set up the rear of your runner for LT.
