a secret road on the way up to baker in the low lands and it's only open at random times as there's a big gate there, i'd be willing to show you one day if we can get a few guys together to go put around up there and other places in the Forrest as well. can't really explain it and really don't want to post it on the internet here, i can try to mark it on a map for you if you'd like,send me a pm if you want that instead. cheers!

Got my sliders in...Thanks again Champ 1415. Want to get these mounted, but since I don't own a welder, I'll need to wait until Jmildoc can get to his.

It rained non stop Thursday, Friday and Saturday out here in dry a$$ TX so everything was flooded. Went out to see the damage at the local reservoir. All the low lying trails had clear evidence that they were full of 3-4ft of rushing water during the flash. Sunday they were just slick nasty trails. There was a bunch of good ol' boys out there having a blast. One of which was a big Deuce n' a Half monster. Made the deepest crossing I've done in a while look like a puddle.

Answer- No! I was missing the 1st qt of the Denver/Oakland game already. So safe decision, go watch the game and drink beer!

Got stuck this weekend in the sand. Wasn't planning on doing anything crazy, but it was too fun to pass up. Didn't have much gear with me, but I managed to get out with the factory jack, and my little emergency axe.

Nice little bit of flex for stock suspension. Really need a rear locker!!!

My 4Runner build so far!

So far I have daystar 2.5 inch lift,set of GT Radial MT tires,new kenwood head unit,bazooka tube.I love my 96 3rz 5 speed.it gets great fuel mileage.

did you want to double the sliders as running boards as well? curious to why its so far out.

Yes I did. My wife struggles to get in now that it's lifted. So I wanted them for that, as well as protection. They come out almost as wide as the tires, with the lockout about 1/2" past the rear tire. They also aren't as wide as some other brands, so the posts provided were a little longer.

Sliders are all painted up. Used Rustoleum Hammered Black. I think they turned out pretty good...just need to add some grip tape to the top.
