lol I wish, the mountains are huge out here. But this at Thardy's house. He lives in some nice open, un-developed country. I live a little closer to this same mountain chain and the scenery is amazing!

It's funny either a lot of people have been saying the same exact thing about this pic or one person keeps saying it and little ol' me keeps replying lol I'm very simple minded :cheer2:

Its not horrible. Having a 5 speed and the supercharger helps alot. The only time i really wish i was regeared is when i'm crawling. The dual cases will take care of that though.

Havent been on here in a while, just got a Is350 so ive been messing with that car for a while. But took some pictures of my 4runner after a night out driving some trails with a few friends. Anyways here are the pictures.

Used to live on "the rock" as well. There are lots of great places in the cowichan valley. Mt Prevost is a good place to explore!

3rd gen t4r QUESTIONS NEED HELP

Hello to all, i am new to this site but given what ive seen from the browsing i've done i am sure someone can assist me.

I have a 2000 T4R 4WD SR5. It's been passed down from my father to my brother to me. The car has 180k miles but runs fine. My check engine light had been on for 2 years and then when i changed some parts it went off and yesterday i put my car in 4wd for the snow and as the green 4wd indicator light went on so did the check engine light and now it hasnt turned off. Any ideas?

My main reason for this post are the problems inside;

The dashboard lights are fading, the ones for the radio and HVAC controls is completely out and only flashes sporadically.

If I play a CD and go over a bump the CD either stops playing or skips.

When i go to put the left turn signal there is a buzzing sound and you have to gently put it exactly in the right spot for the turn signal to work.

Last but not least my car stinks, ive washed it, detailed it, scrubbed it down but there is still a lingering smell that is very foul.

I have a cloth interior so its not as easy to clean i guess. Is there something i can do to make this stench go away?

1. Go to an auto parts store and have them read the check engine light code to tell you what the problem is.
2. Replace your dash lights with LED lights, there are many threads on this
3. Replace your cd player, theyre relatively inexpensive
4. Not sure about your turn signal issue but im sure if you do a search on here you will find some info
5. Check under your seats for old food or nasty stains and use an extractor to clean the carpet. Has it been flooded? If so you will need to remove the carpet and clean it. You will have to replace the jute (padding) and clean the floor boards.

6. You probably shouldn't post this in the picture gallery, just fyi
