Please forgive my deep snow driving ignorance.... aren't you and the Black rig stuck in these pictures? since it's buried up past the axles? and if yes, wouldn't letting a bunch of air out of the tires help not dig a hole straight down in the shape of the tires? Nice shots too man! i'm guessing that high-lift jack was useful! :bowl:

Thanks man! Actually only the 2nd and 3rd pictures are the only ones where anyone was stuck. I got stuck in the first picture because I slowed down going over a culvert since I was afraid I'd slide into the ditch if I wasn't careful, and then the Jeep got stuck in the 3rd picture, though I think he could of rocked free if he tried.

And we had aired down to 15psi; even though the axles were sunk in the snow we still had enough traction most of the time to move forward and just plow through. It was funny because at the top I could see snow being pushed to the sides from my bumper, reminded me of an ice breaker

Awesome pics. I have held back from doing an HID retrofit because I thought it would look strange with the stock front bumper and grille, but it doesn't, yours looks great. I've gotten used to the HIDs on our Acura TSX, so it's hard to like the dim yellow-ish light of the stock lights.

New to 4runners, I come from a background in older rwd Volvos (240/740/940s). I just picked up a 2wd 2002 SR5. It's a clean 1 owner and only had 91k miles when I got it. I've already been using this site as a valuable resource and I'm looking forward to learning more about these trucks.

One of my fraternity brothers 5th gen, he's not on here or on any forum for that matter, he sold his C63 AMG to buy it and immediately bought the Icon stage six kit and those meats. I'm sick with envy. and pretty bummed he (his pops) wouldn't let me put it on haha

oh yeah....you would not believe how it rides off road, makes getting back in mine feel like getting into a 75 pinto

Heres my 2002 4runner 4x4, I use to have a 2005 Tacoma pre runner but had to sell it because it was 2wd. This summer I'm going full long travel front and rear to make the best of both world dessert runner/ crawler!!!

Haha thanks! The high beams look great at night right now. I just need to adjust them up a litter higher for the low beams but it's been so dang cold.
