Ever get any rattles in the cab with your tent mounted on those Thule/Yakima bars?

Yeah, I have a rattle/thump from the drivers front of the roof rails, because I'm missing the front mounting screw apparently. That's it though.

You may want to looking into stiffening the roof, my guess is that even if you put that screw in you will still have rattle. I did and it's because the front half of the roof rail is unsupported because thats were the sunroof goes into. I know a guy over on I hate mud stiffened his roof using some flat bar which was interesting. I didn't feel like doing that though so I built my current rack.

Sweet, yeah Scott makes some awesome stuff. I almost bought one of his racks before I built my own. Just curious how much did he say it was gonna be? I'm still thinking of getting one in the future possibly I just didn't feel like spending the cash right now :/
