I'm a new member,recently purchased a 2002 4x4 Sport. I have owned 2 others and am happy to be back in the drivers seat of one again!

You may want to looking into stiffening the roof, my guess is that even if you put that screw in you will still have rattle. I did and it's because the front half of the roof rail is unsupported because thats were the sunroof goes into. I know a guy over on I hate mud stiffened his roof using some flat bar which was interesting. I didn't feel like doing that though so I built my current rack.

So on the CVT site they recommend Thule or Yakima racks for the Mt. Shasta... I find this a cheaper way to go, but does it actually do alright? Is it really strong enough?
Still trying to decide if I want to go the RTT route. Its a LOT of money and seems kind of cumbersome to leave up there and/or to remove
