What did you use to black out the chrome fender trim? Looks awesome...

Thanks! I took them all off and sanded then primed them. I cant remember now what black paint I used for them. Its been sometime now.

Any tricks for getting them all off without breaking everything? Been wanting to remove mine but dont want to break all the clips/rivets in case the paint underneath is really bad and I want to put them back on?

It does require a day pass and/or reservations for camping (not sure we have an annual park pass) ran it counter clockwise and stayed at Labyrinth and Airport which must be booked at like midnight 4 months ahead of the day you want to stay absolutely epic man... definite bucket list and would do it again!

I love that hood... The first time I saw it I went to go buy one right away and then I saw the price lol. Why can't cf hoods be cheap for our trucks like they are for Audi's!

What kind of gear do you carry on the roof? Also I dig the limb risers I really need to get me some for around here...

I managed to get the roof at $600 - Andy's Auto Sport had it listed at a silly low price for some reason. I jumped on it!

Our trip to the island was crappy, coming back was nice and sunny!

The roof rack contained exactly:
- 2 folding chairs
- (x1) XL North Face Base Camp Duffel Bag (sleeping bags, stuff sacks full of clothes)
- (x2) M North Face Base Camp Duffel Bags (one full of camping gear - pots and pans etc - and the other full of our personal effects - toiletries etc)
- (x1) Osprey Expanding Bag (covers our two sleeping pads)
- (x2) 20L Water Cans

I packed it quite full and yet there was still room enough on the straps for me to feel comfortable and I was easily able to tug them down snug.

3rd Gen. T4R Picture Gallery


Picked up this bad Lawrence last weekend from the original owner. It came with a hole in the boot that attaches to the throttle body (and a po171 cel) so I installed an airaid and new plugs, runs excellent now. All new fluids wires thermostat fuel filter and general clean up start tomorrow. Suspension bushings and front end inspection in a few weeks.

First Little Road Trip of the Year. Skilak Lake Road. There was a Highway Sign on both ends saying 4WD Required. Drive at your own Risk! LOL How could I NOT drive this!

It didn't look that bad till my front driver side tire pretty much disappeared in the mud!
