18" Volk Racing / Ray's Engineering TE37 Large PCD
First off, sick truck. I live in Japan and I've owned a get sets of TE37s and I'm looking to get s set for my 2008. How come some sets have flat spoke while others like yours are concave which looks a million times better? I recently found a set like yours but the guy wants $1600 no tires. Also what offset are yours? Thanks in advance.

TE37s are the most copied wheels probably ever. The ones you probably see the most are the Level 8 MK6. I currently have a set on my Surf, very nice quality.

It depends on the offset and width. The ones you are seeing with flat faces have a high positive offset.

Good looking 4runner, one of my favorite colors! Could you post some more pics of the rear? I would like to see how the 4xinnovations rear bumper "fits" without the sport or limited flares?
Damn man, those are probably the slickest wheels ever. I don't think they look bad on any vehicle. Do you go wheeling with them on at all? I know Ray's/Volk wheels are built to take a beating but obviously they're normally found on something like a Supra on the Tsukuba Circuit.

That sounds like the obvious answer but it's not the case. I've seen plenty 0 offset TE37 that are flat faced. Maybe it has something to do with the TE37X designator. Even local wheel shops here can't give me a solid answer. Thanks for your input.

Thanks! My other 255s touched the UCA just a touch with it steered at full lock offroad , but it doesn't damage anything and it is really rare. Yep stock limited 5 stars

All Te37x have a flat face and the width and offset determine the lip size. On the Te37 Large PCD model, the wider and lower offset does in fact determine the concave of the face.
This is explained on the Rays wheels website:
"TE37 large PCD that has been developed for the City loader RV. Is a Brand New design re-look at the design from scratch in order to cope with large PCD to be employed full-scale 4WD vehicle, stuck to the design, such as concave disks that face design changes depending on the size. It is JWL-T technical standards model who can wear with confidence even in the car with vehicle weight."
