Wheelin' in the south!
Here's a couple shots from Hawk Pride in AL. Hawk Pride is a great place for climbing around on the rocks, and they have a mud hole as well. Only explored maybe 1/4 of it, excited to go back and do more. These pictures also don't do justice to what I did tackle, the wheeling was getting so intense I couldnt even stop to think to take a picture, it was crazy fun!

After wacking rocks with the stock mud flaps I decided to take them off, also because it looks more OEM with them off with the lift and tires

Also had the pleasure of checking out Barnyard Mud Boggers in Mississippi. They had a lot of fun clay hills to climb up and down, a myriad of trails (albeit not well kept) on what seems to be an old logging site. Also some mud/creek riding as well as a huge mud pit.

Also, got myself in a precarious situation last saturday. Playing around on a small trail, decided to drive up a ridge straddling it at the top, got off center, and started to slide down one side towards a ~10ft cliff. I wasn't worried about falling off because I only would slide whilst trying to drive forward or backwards, but boy did I feel stupid. took about 4 hours time between getting stuck, realizing how stuck I was, waiting to be picked up by a friend, driving to walmart and back to get (2) 1500lb atv winches, and then finally getting unstuck. Also used a slackline. A lot of effort had to be put into making sure I didn't slide further down the hill towards the cliff while driving out. All in a good days work

That looks awesome! Any more pics from out at Hawks Pride? I've been wanting to go out there in my 4Runner, just wasn't sure if it was something I would be able to do in a truck with no lift, only larger tires. I'm only like an hour away from there.

Hawk Pride had some nice trails for sure. They have a rating system that goes 1 through 5, 5 being the hardest. I have 33's and SS 7.2, level 3 trails were pretty much at my limit. Level 3 was definitely challenging to not damage body panels, but for me, and I'd guess a lot of other guys on here, the challenge is what makes it fun. If I werent worried about damaging the body I could probably tackle some level 4's, but I'd say any of the level 5's I definitely couldnt do, those are rock crawler/buggy trails. I only had time to explore about 25% of the trails, but I had A LOT of fun. Excited to go back soon.
It's cheap only $15 for driver and $10 per passenger per day, so I'd say take a weekend day and head up! Even if you don't like it, you haven't put too much money into it. I'm only an hour away as well, PM if you wanna meet up sometime!
Have you been to any other OHV parks in the area? I was thinking about Stoney Lonesome next

New rims! I also like them with the hub caps off too. What do you guys think about the no hub look?
FYI the grey in the rims does not match our bumpers perfectly but I am planning on painting the bumpers black eventually.

Went and did a little exploring by the river a few days ago. I love the way the 4Runner is coming together and looks right now, but it's gonna look even better with the goodies I have on order and am contemplating ordering. I need to get a build thread together sometime. Someone should probably stop me...
