Here's my 2000 4runner 5spd I picked up last summer from a co worker's grandma! Gave it a 2.5 inch OME lift and 31 inch tires (can't remember specs). After 270,000 kms the only thing to fail was the steering rack. I live up in northern Alberta, Canada and the salty winter roads have been unkind to some of the body panels so I want to replace the front fenders and the rocker panels. I plan to add rock sliders and an aftermarket bumper. The sidesteps are so rusty they will have to be cut right off!

Hey thanks man. I had a build thread but I ended up closing it. Ill put one back up eventually. Yeah it took me forever to find a set of LC80's

Hay, I'm thinking of doing the same thing only with the superflex springs. How is the ride? Do you like the Kings with that set up?

I love the ride both on and off road. The kings are amazing ! Although i havent had them long enough to give an overall evaluation but they really soaked up the bumps on the trails. I aso got them as a good price point. Rebuildable , 2" diameter , and fully adjustable for around 900 delivered was a good deal in my mind. I should have went with the 891 in the rear to give a little better load carrying potential but the 890's are really nice with little to no load in the back.

$2500 300,000 miles and runs like a champ. Took it wheeling up on Chinaman Gulch here in CO so the running boards are toast now but.... I was the only stock truck at the top. The rear diff lock helped. Wish I had pics of the beast running the trail. It did it easier than my buddy's open open Cherokee that flexes like MAD with a lift.

Went to Uwharrie for the first time, tackled Falls Dam and Dickey Bell. Had a great time, Falls Dam was a good warm up, and Dickey Bell was an enjoyable moderate trail.

Big news was airing down for the first time. Went down to 19psi. Holy crap. Game changer. She gripped the rocks so well. That combined with no end links on the front sway bar, she just walked over everything, mostly without even engaging the center diff! Great day.


Dunno what the purple streak is, but check out that front flexing!

Wow. What you have there is IDENTICAL to the project 1996 I just got a few months back. Evergreen Pearl SR5 with diff lock and blue/grey interior. Hell, it even has the same head unit as mine. Only difference is that your's has 100k more and better paint.
