Can you post up more pictures of your 3rd gen? Especially focusing on the front suspension and tires.

I'm wanting to get the same tires you have, but I just have 99 springs. I'm not afraid to pound and cut to clear them. If I have to, I'll get a set of 1.25" spacers for the front to clear stuff. Did you do much cutting for yours to fit? I know you said it has 7" of lift.

Also, what is the exact height of the tire and width of the tread with them mounted on the factory wheels?

Hey! We actually have 5 3/4" of lift in the 3rd gen, 7" lift is in our 4th gen. Not sure how I messed that one up! Ha!

On top of the front shock is a 1 1/2" spacer, which gives us 3" of suspension lift. We also added a 3/8" piece of steel (it's actually a muffler coupler) which equals 3/4" more lift, giving us a total of 3 3/4" suspension lift.

We didn't have to cut anything to make the tires fit. We are running KYB Monomax front shocks. We are using 1.5" wheel spacers on stock 16" wheels. The actual tires that we are using are Super Swamper 9/34-16LT special service tire. Tread depth is an amazing 27/32. They are super skinny, which means they are the absolute best in deep mud. Our racing success has a lot to do with these incredible tires. To find them, you have to go to TSL Super Swamper and they are on the absolute end of the listing of available sizes/styles. Actual part/catalog number is SAM-21. Here is the link:

Measuring from the biggest tread across to the biggest tread, we get 9". Section width is 9". The tire sets exactly 34" tall when brand new on 7" stock wheels. We are just under that now that they are worn.

My lunatic is only allowed to roam free on short trips. Otherwise he's in his crate. Can't trust him to stay in the truck as we near the killing fields.

Just picked up a 2000 4Runner SR5 4 days ago with 99k miles (158 000km). Super stoked can't wait to get some work done on it.

Thanks! It was the first one i looked at and i knew it was the one just by the overall condition and mileage. I paid $4700 with emissions test done and got the safety done without any problems

I'll throw up a few pictures... first thing i did was remove the running boards and dipped the wheels for now until i can get a new set of wheels. Was thinking about getting Soft 8s but I'm not sure to go 16x8 or 16x9

She's not crazy about the water unless there are birds in it. The goal this summer is to get her to actually swim (currently she just goes out until she cannot touch and turns around), but I am a bit torn after seeing how crazy some dogs get about the water.
