I haven't posted in this thread in a while but I just finished some minor maintenance to my rig. Got some new tires and installed a brake kit.

I sort of feel that the tire size isn't big enough but I still wanted it some what drivable until I can get to some power adders and drivetrain upgrades before going bigger.

Awesome 4runner! Love the black. I also just bought a '97 a couple of weeks ago. I really want to paint her black. Every time I start thinking well I kinda really like the "cool steel" grey color (plus it was painted 2 years ago so so the paint is in great shape) then I see one in black n they r sooooo beautiful in black! Yours has low miles too so awesome find. Mine has 227k miles on her but the previous n only other owner took great care of her n gave me all her records. Mine has the crome bumpers but I'm thinking about trying that pastidip stuff n painting them black.

Thanks for that. They really just look like the good ol' FN wheels imo. I've been waiting forever to put these on though. I been rolling on the stock steelies for years with these in storage trying to wear down the tires to a reasonable degree haha.

Yeah, but Konigs got nothing on real Volks. I'd settle for any cast rims for the runner haha. For my STI though, TEs is fair game.
