It's why I have not ran away yet. I just went to grand canyon. It was awesome but it really makes me appreciate what I have here. Just wake up. Look out window and see awesome views all day.

....And then this. Jackass locked a gate while people were still back in the high country. Let's just say this 4Runner went over the rocks that were piled up blocking people to go around the gate. But in doing so I hit the pole.

I see two dents under the window and scratches.
I don't believe it was private land. The road up appears to be maintained, wide two lane gravel road. No signed posted anywhere. I think he was just being a jackass.

No I wish they are a knock offs of the ARB Intensity but dang they are bright.

Somewhere in Dixie National Forest, Utah. Just came back from a trip to Panguitch Lake.

I still need to install my lift kit this weekend, but the 285's fit with ease just in time for my road trip. I didnt do any trail driving however.

Just picked up this 98' limited Thursday. Did some maintenance on it changing plugs, oil/filter, air filter, fuel filter. Still have the driveline fluids to do. Couldn't help taking the cargo box off and starting a box for a 8" sub. More to come from this build.

New Toy

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just sold my built Jeep LJ in favor of one of the nicest 1999's I have seen with 127k (SC put on at 94k).

Couldn't resist...supercharged with rear locker, leather, ARB bumper, 3" coilover toytech with 1" body, upgraded sound system. So much more comfortable for adventures with three kids.

Very happy with the build except for a few things I'd love input on:

1) The guy I bought it from had just put on 305/70/16's with a crazy offset wheel of like -20 in load range E's. I didn't like them....the look, the weight, or the clearance in the front. So, I have sold those and looking to go with a Nitto Ridge Grappler in a C but in a 285/70/r17 (new wheels too with -10 offset). I think this will get me a lighter tire that will still be plenty fine for the off-road I do as well as a narrower tire with hopefully more clearance though tucked in a hair better than those -20 offset wheels. The only bummer is whether they will look big enough with my 4" lift. I tried to get that tire in a 285/75r17 but Nitto isn't making it yet apparently (in a C) and no timeline on when or if they will. Thoughts?

2) Can't decide whether to ditch the 90's era Baja lights for LED's. Opinions?

3) Rack is already off. Didn't like the look of it and rebuilding it.

That's s great looking truck! Welcome!

I actually like the look of the Baja lights, but LEDs may be brighter and serve you better on the trails.

I know...goes with the era. But had LED's on my Jeep and were pretty hard to beat. Could do spots out on the corners of the bumper...have both. Light bar replacing the baja would look good too though and of course can tie into use the wiring already there so makes it easy however.
