Opinions?

looking at purchasing this 3rd gen with 188k miles on it, (304k kms) looks pretty clean. Claims to have changed all diff and tansfer case lubricants to full synthetic. The tranny got new fluid. He says the rad and thermostat is one year old along wkth that fluid. And the plugs and wires were replaced two years ago. He said he will sell it for 4500 bucks Canadian, which is 3500 usd.

Looks for rust on the rear axle and where the tires fling it up on the frame... Other than that looks/sounds solid and clean. If the rust is acceptable to you, the go for it. If no rust, why is it not yours yet?

He said that the rockers are rather rusty and might go straight through, but you cant see it unless you get down and look. I'm going to meet up with this guy this weekend and i will definitely look around where you told me to. Hoping to get some tips for buying before I go and make a mistake.

With the running boards on, if the rockers are rusty I will promise you the front corners are gone too, along with probably the lower floor pan around the body mounts.

if this is the case, which i will do my best to look for when i'm checking it out this weekend, should i not bother with it? Ill take pictures of it underneath and whatever rust i can find. Thank you for responding, I appreciate the info and advice.
