MY 97 sr5 new member

Hi My 97 sr5, new member my first post .4 runner been well used, i'm afraid time to find a replacement

Pretty excited that I own such a cool toy/tool. About a month ago I bought a 3rd Gen Runner Limited in Anthracite Metallic.
It was bone stock when I got it and I am looking for suggestions as to what people think I should do to it. Take a peek and let me know!
All I've done so far is throw on some new Multi Mile Wild Country XTX Sports 265 75 16, mounted my 24 inch light bar to the bumper and then blacked out my badges and grills. I want some new suspension that will give me a 1-2" lift so I can take it on some snow and dirt roads for when I go fishing here in Washington State. I drive mostly on highways and city streets so I'm not looking for anything crazy. Any Suggestions?

Glad to see someone else rocking the XTX tires! I've had mine for just shy over a year and about 6k miles. They have been amazing! Driving in snow, I almost forgot there was snow on the ground with the AWD on.

I've probably only put about 300 total miles on mine and I totally agree. I'm super impressed with the performance in basically anything I've seen so far. I hadn't heard much about the tires before I bought them so I was a little skeptical but I agree, so far I'm happy with the purchase.

My friend manages the big tire shop here and he wheels a few jeeps. He prefers these over everything(all terrains). He said he only runs bfgs because he likes the tread pattern and can get them super cheap.

Yeah that's funny you say that because my buddy too works at a tire shop up this way and was the person who suggested these over all the others. For the money I don't think you can go wrong.

Got a few things done today. Replaced my worn out Husky floor mats with the fitted WeatherTechs. Installed trail gears lug centric 1.25" spacers. Then took her out to the river, the spacer seem to put more leverage on the suspension I noticed a smoother ride. Weathertech did a superb job of catching all the sand In the floorboard

Finally got the new to me 4Runner where I want her: OME Coils and Bilstein Shocks, I've run that combo on my last few Jeeps and have no complaints. Also got the new Falkens installed today :thumb:

My new to me Ol' Girl.

1998 4x4 SR5 V6 5spd with 115,000 miles.

Just finished installing the Gobi rack and if you can't tell, I'm happy!

Changed out CV boots, and LBJ's both OEM as soon as I picked it up. Also changed all the fluids.

First time poster, long time lurker. Happy to finally join the 4Runner club. Happy Holidays!
