Oh shit! I bought the bumper off this guy on craigslist. I think it is custom made but not to sure. You will see a much better rig in a couple months when I get back from deployment.

Installed a new Tranmsission, Water Pump, Timing Belt, Head Unit...



Got 285/70/17 Rims and Tires from a 2017 4Runner off showroom floor for 800 Bucks! Blacked out Center Spokes with 3M Satin Black Vinyl.

After Effect (Top Pic) & before Vinyl and Lift (Shopped, BEFORE Lift)

Installed Tundra TRD Coils up Front - Moog Extended Coils in Rear

3 Inch Lift with Combo Tires/Rims/Suspension

Enuf for now... Whew long 2 weeks..

1.5" Spacers on the way...

Those wheels look great I wouldn't have thought they would look good on 3rd gens.

I've been lurking this forum for a long time, doing maintenance to my Runner. Newly registered and out in the open. Living in Alaska, this Runner really shines. I've never been stuck!

Mostly, I want to say thank you! Your collective knowledge has helped me many times in the past. I'm sure it will again.

Check it out! The Yota is looking pretty dirty these days.

This is a (mostly) bone stock 99 SR5, originally sold in BC. I picked it up with 110,000 miles, has 290,000 now.

The only aftermarket parts are the rims, and 265/75/16 10 ply tires. That was done by a previous owner.

I have done:
Timing belt
Water pump / thermostat / hoses
Idler pulleys
Oil changes
Air filter
MAF sensor
Roof rack install
Trailer hitch install

Took it to a professional for:
Rebuilt injectors

It needs plenty more work, you haven't heard the last from me.

Hey there. I could use some input on tires. I found a deal on some Nexen 10 ply Roadians. I just drive the runner to the hills in rough off road Utah. Think these are overkill? I don't haul lots of weight or anything, but if they are tougher than a regular tire in some ways, why not? Let me know what you think

Baja Rack, standard length basket rack. They also make a full length rack that covers your whole roof. They are made specifically for your 4runner and slide into your factory roof mounts worth every penny imo
